2004 APHA Palomino Overo Filly
Flare is Gorgeous’ mom. She died 3 weeks after giving birth. She was a beautiful dark chestnut blue eyed quarter horse with a lot of body and big butt. My girlfriend was crushed at loosing this mare and has sold all of her horses because of it. That’s why I took gorgeous in. She was bucket fed milk replacement into her fourth month and always had alfalfa and grain to eat. She is current on ALL shots, wormings, and trimmings.
She NEVER looked or acted like an orphan. She amazed everyone at how well she grew and what a good mind she has. She was loved but treated like a horse and she has other babies to play with so she is socialized. She’s very correct with a long swan neck and a pretty face. Her ears are so perked that almost touch. She also has smokey blue eyes. She has a lot of personality and she comes when you call her. She’s going to be someone’s best friend, that’s the kind of horse she is. Very personable and pleasant.
Jag is Gorgeous’ sire. He’s 16.1H and 1400 pounds. He’s just huge, and his muscles are amazing. He won everything here, including best stallion overall. Just a little peak into what Gorgeous has coming in the way of body and class. Right now she’s in a tall phase. We’ve bathed her for the first time, real easy and pleasant. I think we could have shaved her too but I had too much work to do getting my colt ready to show. Gorgeous has already been tied, bathed, she lounges, trailers, and comes when you call her. She’s an absolute love and we’re looking for just the right home. We’re asking $5,000 but we’ll consider if you’re the home we’re looking for. Let us know what you think of our girl.
